Saturday Weigh In

I weighed in at 153 pounds, down .4 again this week.  This makes me 5 pounds away from not having to pay for Weight Watchers and 7 pounds away from reaching my goal weight.

The week went pretty well.  I was happy with my eating.  I’ve really been working on making more salads and that went really well.

I wasn’t very active.  It rained most of the week and the time change made me tired the whole week.  I did start getting back into activity, but early in the week I wasn’t very active.

Today after the meeting we went to lunch at The Counter again.  Our son is in town for spring break so we met him and our daughter there to eat.  It was still good.  I had a chicken bowl again, but different sauce and cheese.  I did try their sweet potato fries.  They were good, but I think the turkey chili is better.

It was finally a great, sunny day so I went out for a walk with my husband this afternoon for our first outside walk since we got sick in February.  I haven’t eaten all that well for the rest of today.  The lunch was fairly high point and usually when I do that I’m not very hungry for the rest of today.  But, today I’ve been hungry and snacked more than usual.  So, as I write this, I’m at 44 WW points for the day.  That’s OK since this is the first day of my WW week and I have plenty of points, but it is more than I usually eat in a single day.

Still, I was just so happy to finally have good weather and be able to go for a real outside walk in our neighborhood which is nice because it is hilly.

    Congrats on the weigh-in, that’s wild to be so close. I’m sure your thoughts are changing as you get near the goal – ??

    Also congrats on the outside walk! So exciting! I love walking outdoors when the weather’s nice. Our snow has melted a lot all week, so I should be able to do an outside walk very soon as well, can’t wait! Cheers and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

      Yes, I am thinking a lot about goal and really thinking about what to focus on once I get to goal. I think I still need to lose 10 pounds or so, but I think I will work more on body composition and just healthy living.
