Yes, I did exercise on Friday

Today (Friday), I really didn’t want to exercise.  I slept horribly last night.  Went to bed at an OK time for me (about 2 AM), but I didn’t get to sleep until after 6 AM!  I slept late, but only got about 4 hours of sleep waking up a couple of times.  So, I was exhausted.  And, I really didn’t want to exercise.  I was at 110 minutes for the week and this was the last day of my week.  So, if I was going to meet my goal of 150 minutes a week, then today was my last shot at it.

So, I was reading about 6 PM and just suddenly got up and put on my heart rate monitor and hopped on the treadmill.  I really didn’t want to do it for 40 minutes and about 15 minutes in I was thinking I would stop at 20 minutes.  But, then at 20 minutes I knew I was only 20 minutes away from making my 150 minutes for the week, so I just kept going.  Finally, it was over and I had done the whole 40 minutes.

I was happy afterwards that I had gone ahead and done it even though I was so tired.  I wasn’t actually any more tired after I was finished so I thought it worked out fine.

I’ve had a really good week and Friday morning my weight was down.  Of course, that was true the last time I weighed in and then I was up half a pound on Saturday morning.  So, we’ll see.
