Me growing up, worried about being overweight starting in late elementary school:
In early elementary school, when I was clearly normal weight.
At about age 11, I still looked normal weight.
I’m the girl on the right. If you look really carefully, you can see what might be a little tummy overhang.
And, here, you can see the tummy hanging over. But, it didn’t hang over as much I remember it hanging over.
Me at about age 12.
About age 13, looking normal weight (since I wasn’t in a 2 piece bathing suit). My arms look fine to me.
Me at about age 13, in the last 2 piece bathing suit I ever wore. I hated how my abdomen looked in this.
Christmas when I was 13.
I was about 14 or 15 here.
My 17th birthday. I think I look fine here, not overweight at all.
High school graduation, at age 18.
I think this was around the time I graduated college
About the time I finally got out of school, weighing about 155 pounds.
After I had lost some of my then high weight of 180.
In my late 20s. This was an “up” period for my weight.
I was down a little bit here, but still had a little double chin.
I was about 30 years old here. I look like I was about to burst out of my jeans. (Let’s just discreetly avert our eyes from my hair).
At about 130-135 pounds shortly before I got to my goal weight of 125 pounds.
Weighing about 148, I could barely squeeze into this dress.
I had gained some after getting married, but was in the 150s here.
I weighed about 186 pounds here.
Probably in the low 160s or high 150s here.
I wasn’t weighing myself when this was taken.
At about 205 pounds.
At about 170 pounds. I lost about 10 pounds after this, then regained about 35 pounds.
2014 Birthday. On the way back down after having regained about 35 pounds. 173 here.
2015 Birthday, about 152 pounds
My 25th wedding anniversary in early 2017. I was finally able to fit back into my wedding dress pictured above!
